Hmmmm interesting. Funny you mention it because I was taking gaba not too long ago and it was in a mixture with some other stuff. Anyways, I think it was causing me to wake up kind of uncoordinated and feeling just kind of weird. Dissociative I guess you could say, which makes sense because it’s related to the NMDA receptors somehow I think. It supposedly “can’t” cross the blood brain barrier, at least this is repeated despite the fact that it can and does, it’s just an unreliable mechanism in which it does. Low levels of gaba were insinuated to absorb more in the brain also. I didn’t have this issue as if I took the full 750 mg I felt very strange consistently and none of the other supplements in the mixture would seem to do this.

I purchased the total lean protein podwer…cookies and cream….and planning on tasting french vanilla…but I been doing great ..I have one for breakfast on the go and 1 during lunch time….it makes it easier for me to get my protein and still not be hunger….and for dinner I have a my dinner…I a salad plate of whatever I’m going to eat…nothing …different of my dinner had to change…but my portion size cause I change my plate size…which don’t give me room to put much food on my plate….so I’ve been on it for 2 weeks and I lost 5 lbs…..I drink plenty of the day..and after shake..because of it thickness…for digesting…but I’m going to try the vegan vegetable and the French vanilla together with 1 scoop each….to get my vegetable in take when I’m not eating enough veggies…I would probably be on this product for long term….it’s easy…and satisfying…for on the go.

I can’t get into the specifics of his diet unfortunately. I tried once but had the finger waved at me. But I can talk about the carb spike. According to Cory the carb spike is to elevate growth hormone production while you sleep and in turn putting on more muscle. I’m not 100% on the research of that, but I know in the traditional anabolic diet, the carb spike is a weekend and that is to replenish glycogen stores in the muscles. In the traditional anabolic diet, you consume high amounts of fat from red meat which acts as a precursor to testosterone and in turn crazy muscle gains.
